După ce și-a adormit copiii, Luana începe să strângă lucrurile din casă pentru mutare. Brusc, primește un telefon de la sora ei care îi cere bandaje. Luana pleacă în grabă acasă la ea, unde o găsește pe Ana tulburată și pe Dan, soțul ei, rănit la mână. Deși a pierdut foarte mult sânge, Dan nu vrea să sune la salvare, iar Ana se conformează. Luana începe să bănuiască ce s-a întâmplat și insistă să sune la salvare, însă Dan se enervează din ce în ce mai tare, până când lucrurile scapă de sub control.

After putting her children to sleep, Luana starts packing things in the house to move. When she gets a call from her sister asking her for bandages. Luana hurries to her house, where she finds Ana troubled. Dan, the husband, has injured his hand. Although he has lost a lot of blood, Dan will not call an ambulance and Ana must comply. Luana begins to suspect what happened and insists on calling for help, but Dan gets angrier and angrier, until things get out of control.

În munții Jura din Franța, la sfârșitul unui Ev Mediu fictiv, Else este moașă și bună cunoscătoare a tainelor plantelor. Într-o zi, un străin sosit călare le întrerupe pe Else și Nicole, tânăra ei ucenică, din activitățile lor zilnice, cerându-le să adune toate femeile satului biserică.

In the French Jura mountains, at the end of fictitious Middle Ages, Else is an herbalist and a midwife. With Nicole, her young apprentice, they are disturbed during their daily practice: a stranger riding a horse demands them to gather all the women of the village inside the church.

Elena, întoarsă în țară să-și vândă apartamentul, rămâne blocată aici din cauza pandemiei. Lockdown-ul se prelungește și singurătatea ei se accentuează. Căutând o formă de exprimare a credinței, acceptă o invitație și speră ca socializarea să-i aducă puțină liniște.

Elena has come back in the country to sell her apartment, but she cannot leave the country any longer because of the pandemic. The lockdown seems to never end and her loneliness deepens. Looking for a form of expression of faith, he accepts an invitation. She hopes that socializing will bring her some peace.
