O pisicuță găsește adăpost la piciorele unei statui înfățisând un grifon în timp ce fugea de un câine care o urmărea. Ca prin magie, grifonul prinde viață și îi arată tinerei pisici frumusețea orașului Saint Petersburg.

Trying to run away from the mad dog, little cat finds a statue of a Gryphon, where she hides. Surprisingly, Gryphon becomes alive to protect young lady and show her all the beauty of Saint-Petersburg.

Wildlife Cameraman (Summer Farm) este un film ca o poezie, bazat pe poemul „Summer Farm” al poetului scoțian Norman MacCaig, cu muzică și versuri de Scott William Urquhart și Constant Follower. Filmul se concentrează pe legătura dintre natură și lumea noastră interioară. Poemul lui McCaig sondează natura, observând detaliile simpliste care devin o rețea metafizică care leagă toate ființele vii. Expansivitatea naturii declanșează adesea o călătorie interioară atunci când ne simțim deconectați de noi înșine și de lumea din jurul nostru. Sinele adevărat se manifestă ca un copil interior care este întotdeauna adevărat și pur, indiferent de greutățile cu care ne-am confrunta. Putem pierde legătura cu copilul nostru interior, dar legătura nu poate fi întreruptă niciodată. Ne putem găsi întotdeauna calea înapoi la noi înșine și la natură. „Wildlife Cameraman (Summer Farm)” este preluat de pe albumul Even Days Dissolve.

(Summer Farm) is a music video/poetry film based on the poem “Summer Farm” by Scottish poet Norman MacCaig with music and lyrics by Scott William Urquhart & Constant Follower. The film focuses on the connection between nature and our inner world. McCaig’s poem looks outward to nature, noticing the simplistic details which become a metaphysic web that connects all living things. The expansiveness of nature often triggers an inward journey when we feel disconnected from ourselves and the world around us. The true self manifests as the inner child who is always true and pure no matter what hardships we might face. We can lose touch with our inner child, but the connection can never be severed. We can always find our way back to ourselves and to nature. ‘Wildlife Cameraman (Summer Farm)’ is taken from the album Even Days Dissolve.

La sfârșitul secolului al XIX-lea, într-un sat sicilian, tânăra Pina deține puterea de a face pământul să renască. Cu fiecare recoltă, satul este pradă jafurilor mafiei. Întâlnirea lui Pina cu șeful mafiei va cufunda cătunul într-o eră a foametei, punând în pericol destinul întregii țări.

În februarie, Pina a câștigat premiul de calificare pentru Oscar pentru cel mai bun scurtmetraj internațional de animație la Flickerfest, Sidney. Filmul a primit și două premii la Festivalul Anima de la Bruxelles.

At the end of the 19th century, in a Sicilian countryside village, the young Pina holds the power to regenerate the land. With each harvest, the village is prey to shameless mafia looting. Pina’s encounter with the mafia chief will plunge the hamlet into an era of starvation, endangering the destiny of the whole country.

In February, Pina won the Oscar Qualifying prize for Best International Animated Short Film at Flickerfest, Sidney. The film also received two awards at Anima Festival in Brussels.

Adina is a lawyer with an up-and-coming career that is currently proving very demanding of her. The onset of an unwanted pregnancy leads her to seek medical help from her mother Carmen, from whom she feels emotionally disconnected.
