Povestea filmului urmărește un adolescent care pleacă în căutarea noului său prieten pe străzile fierbinți ale unui oraș ciudat și intră într-o călătorie senzuală, în care natura din jurul lui devine exotică, iar exoticul devine erotic.
When Night meets Dawn follows a teenage boy that goes looking for his new friend on the hot streets of an eerie city and gets into a sensual journey, where nature around him becomes exotic and the exotic becomes erotic.
