Sinopsis/Synopsis:

Bastien, un băiat de 13 ani din Paris, își petrece vacanța de vară cu familia în Quebec, pe malul unui lac, unde o întâlnește pe Chloé, fiica de 16 ani a vechii prietene a mamei sale. În ciuda diferenței de vârstă, între cei doi adolescenți se înfiripă o legătură specială. Filmul este inspirat de romanul de benzi desenate „Une soeur”, de Bastien Vives, un maestru al sugestiei, ce transmite cu atenție și subtilitate trăirile puternice ale adolescenților. Povestea este o bijuterie narativă, creată de unul dintre cei mai importanți autori contemporani de romane de benzi desenate.

Bastien is a 13 year old kid from Paris who travels for the summer holiday with his family to Quebec. Here, he meets Chloé, 16, who is his mom’s best friends’ daughter and the two teenagers start having complicating feelings for one another, as things are at this age. Based on the comics novel “Une soeur” by Bastien Vives, the movie manages to capture all the details and subtleties of the all too intense emotions felt by teenagers, for one another and for the world around them. The story is a narrative wonder, bearing the very creative essence of one of the best contemporary comic novel artists.
